BLC Endeavors brings to you, our shanty boat, “Talisa”. Talisa, is a Native American Creek word meaning “Beautiful Waters” and that’s what you will find on the beautiful St. John’s River. The best part is YOU are the captain. She is YOUR boat once you leave the dock.

Not an experienced boater?  Not to worry, we tutor you, take you out to ensure that you understand her operation making sure you are properly prepared!  Our customers run from 27 to 72 years old!  If they can do it, so can you!  Still apprehensive?  Talisa travels at a top speed of 6 miles per hour.  We have equipped her not to exceed that so that just about anyone can captain her easily and that you really do experience the river.  Don’t worry, you are not alone.  Talisa is a member of Boat US which means 24/7 “riverside” service in case you were to run out of gas or there is a mechanical failure (which has never happened). We place safety first.

Just think of the freedom of touring, on your own time and with your own itinerary, this pristine river which has remained relatively unchanged for centuries.

At night, snuggle down on a memory foam mattress as the concert of the river wafts around you. Awake in the morning to hot coffee or tea. Cook whatever breakfast you wish as you plan your day.

Natural springs are dotted all along the river and there’s always a new destination, Sun bathe on the sun deck or relax on the lounger as your partner cruises along. The river is yours and we welcome you to it.
